Training for year 5 pupils
The Magnificent Mind Champion Training aims to equip Year 5 pupils to become Pacesetter’s "Magnificent Mind Champions".
What are Pacesetter’s "Magnificent Mind Champions"?
Magnificent Mind Champions are pupils, selected by you, who will help spread lots of positive mental health related messages across your school. We will of course support them in doing this. You will automatically be signed up to our new Magnificent Mind Champion newsletter which we will send out to schools every term with loads of handy hints, free resources and fabulous ideas!
We come in for a day (9.30am – 2.30pm), on a date that suits you and deliver Magnificent Mind Champion Training to your Year 5 pupils. As well as being trained up to be Magnificent Mind Champions, the pupils will receive a badge to wear and a certificate. The school will receive a resource pack containing posters, an assembly plan, a lesson plan and lots of handy hints.
The Children have really enjoyed the experience, they often tell me how they have been helping others and are keen to know when their next training session will be. I think they have all shown a lot of maturity and enjoyed having some responsibility. The Children taking part have fully embraced the experience and wear their badges with pride. They presented a lovely assembly to the school recently. When the new school year begins we will be bringing in the positivity jars to each classroom and the champions are also keen to have positivity colouring pages around the school for children to access. The PlayMaker Award
We can also deliver the the PlayMaker Award, which introduces Year 5 pupils to leading activities during break times, giving learners the knowledge and skill to organise small games and activities. This is ideal when purchased with the Magnificent Mind Champion Training as the 2 complement each other well, providing a great way of reaching out to more children and giving them a wider range of roles and responsibilities within the school.

- Basic Package: Magnificent Mind Champion Training = £235 +VAT for up to 15 pupils
- Combined Magnificent Mind Champion Training with The Playmaker Award: We are currently offering schools both the PlayMaker Award and the Magnificent Mind Champion Training at a combined price. Please enquire with us for more details.
